TypePosters is a project from WHP Creative, the studio behind the Work Hone Play initiative — a framework built around the idea that creative work should span the professional, the skilled, and the purely joyful. TypePosters sits firmly in the Play corner of that world: a passion project born from a genuine love of type design, graphic art, and the belief that your walls deserve something a little more considered than a mass-produced print.

The site itself is built the way we think a modern independent store should be — fast, flexible, and purpose-built rather than off-the-shelf. Under the hood it's a custom headless storefront powered by Next.js, hooked into Shopify for seamless cart and checkout, with a Sanity CMS keeping products and content in sync behind the scenes. The character chooser — the bit where you pick your letter and see it come to life in the design — uses advanced image processing to generate a real preview of your poster on the fly, exactly as it'll be printed. What you see really is what you get.

It's a small project, but it's been built with the same attention to craft we put into the prints themselves.
